a word of caution
Do not pour gas or any other solvents into your engine to
unstick or clean up internal parts. If your engine is in the
condition that things are stuck, roll up your sleeves and
get greasy!
You will end up circulating crap through your engine even if
you drain and refill with fresh oil. There is alot of metal
that accumulates in the flywheel and sump that will loosen
and pass through the sump screen.
After you get things nice and clean inside, oil filters work
great. I can email a picture of a nice setup if you like

Hello John , I run a '26 Deluxe , '29 KJ and '27 Ace all
with the orriginal "all steel" plates and use a good quality
0/50 . I do a lot of miles all year round , I only get
clutch sticking problems in very cold weather (not that it
gets all that cold here in England)but a couple of minutes
running with the clutch engaged usually frees the clutch ,
then no more problems . If your clutch is still stuck then I
an only agree with Rohan and Steve , put a pint (English
size i.e. 20 ounces) of petrol in the clutch housing ,
engage clutch with the hand lever and try kicking over ,
leave like that until free or you are fed up , then you may
have to check inside engine . Best of luck , keep us all
informed , Ken
