Subject:Deluxe Ammeter Update

Hello Henners,

After my long upchucking on DeLuxe meters, I received a
serious email from the indomitable and irasible master of
Hen history and correctness Perry Ruiter. He caused me to
revisit issues more scarier than my ex-wives (Hey Dave do
you relate?!) To sum it up the '28 X parts book shows a
white faced 15 amp U.S. Gauge flange mounted meter for the
dash. But the 1928 Henderson lit shows a white faced 15 amp
flange mounted Weston 354. This is the last and final on
this subject. Good luck with these ammeters. I will judge
either correct as long its not a Stewert Warner. One
probably stands a better chasnce to have carnal knowledge
with one of the "Desperate Housewives" than finding one of
these meters,

To MAKE MATTERS WORSE, I cofirmed with Steve Blancard that
Splitdorf quit making DU5 gens the end of '27 earlier '28.
Hence this means that '28 X's and Hens should have the DU7s.
More pressure/more money.

Winter reeeeealllly SUCKS! Anybody Riding please post!
Happy henning Steve
