----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Hello, can anybody supply a tig or weld rod # to repair cases, thanks for any Help. Hi, Do not use 5356. It flows nicely but has too high of tensile strength compared to the original metal and shrinks too much when it cools. I agree with Doug Feinsod. There is a world of issues to deal with. I like to think of a case as a 3-dimensional object, and fixturing it on a 2 dimensional plane is often not enough. In short, do not practice on your Indian case. |
