Do not use 5356. It flows nicely but has too high of tensile strength
compared to the original metal and shrinks too much when it cools.
I agree with Doug Feinsod. There is a world of issues to deal with. I like to
think of a case as a 3-dimensional object, and fixturing it on a 2
dimensional plane is often not enough.
In short, do not practice on your Indian case.
