Good detective work.

Since the seller’s area code is 360 (Washington state), I sent him an email
to see if the bike was close by for me to view. He replied that it was in
Tacoma (short ferry ride away from me). After I responded that I wanted to
come look at bike....no reply. I see that his number is also associated with a
Laverda in Germany and expensive Avionics equipment in Portland. Quite
a racket.

OUhhh!!
Premature transmission failure!!
That sounds painful!

If the scammers had any brain cells, they'd at
least
price it near what it's worth.
Peter Brown, get lost, you can't fool us.
I wish you premature transmission failure! :)

I was going to say the same thing but figured
I'd keep my comments to myself.
A basket case engine out of that bike is worth
$17,000!!!
What's with all the scammers!!!!!

$17,000 ?? Sounds like another scam.
If it was real, it would be worth a hell of
lot more than
that. I'll take two at that price lol.
