Hi Christian,
My pal and I in the UK, have a couple of Hendersons, 1924.
Mine was in a poor state, and my pal Don made me a great SS exhaust system.
Its great, and he made a super job of it. Whilst making mine, he partially made a batch of six, but they were never finished off, but I have all the pieces to fabricate them.
HOWEVER, the real problem is fitting them. even though welded in a jig, they moved, and there is such a tiny amount of clearance when fitting, ( especially near to the carb),they need to be hand fitted to the bike, so until I get some time, I do intend to finish them, and fit them to my bike, and hopefully any bike that we send them too.
It maybe some time, but if you can wait I will be finishing them off in 2018
Regards

Hi Folks,
I am currently restoring a Henderson KJ that has been sold new in Hamburg, Germany. My bike was on the road until the mid 1960's. After that it has been dismantled and stored. The owner of the bike sold it and unfortunately, a few house moves later, some parts have been lost before I got the KJ. This includes the exhaust system. A while ago I came across an exhaust, that was more of the style, that Indian used on its Four of those days. Can anybody let me know, if this was an optional exhaust from the Henderson works or maybe an aftermarket extra? Are they still availiable somewhere?

Thanks

Christain
