Its all in fun,
The Ace is a work of art for sure and if not for the
Henderson Brothers we'd be riding Megola's, Pierce and
Militaire's with wooden wheels.
Kidding aside, AceDoug has been a dedicated keeper of the
Ace flame and major contributor to the AMCA.
I'm quite sure he has enough information for a book on the
subject.
I'm always amazed at just how light those Ace cylinders are.
ter tearing apart an Ace I'm not so sure I'd want to go
129mph on one. Red had big ones

Sounds as though I've started a bit of a ping pong match
here between Ace and Henderson's , Good to see the old
rivalry spirit still going , when I've run-in my Ace I'll
be able to compare it to my Hen myself BUT would love to
hear those amazing stories Doug ?? thanks all for helping ,
Ken

Only 10 mph on my Ace. When you first started to ride, you
would buzz around as fast as possible to show everyone that
you rode a motorcycle. Then as the bikes got neater and
more expensive, you would slow down just to be sure everyone
would appreciate what you actually were riding.

And to show that I'm not totally insensitive to the
Henderson guys, I have a Henderson engine in my basement.
It makes a great doorstop.
