Barry, I think you are right. I remember one of these in my Grandads old truck. It work as well as the vacuum wipers.When you pressed on the gas they stopped. Real safe. Just like all of their ideas they most likely stole this wonderful idea from Henderson, but in reality it is an automotive vacuum powered windshield de-mister fan which you can sell for about $.99 on Ebay. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Does anyone know what this is. It was in a parts box for my 29 KJ. It is painted the same as the front forks, so I assume it has something to do with the front end. Any help would be appreciated.
