HEY STEVE SOUNDS GREAT, MAYBE WE CAN GET A BAG OF 'TORTILLAS'OUT AND GET THE FAT MAN TO BRING HIS HIDDEN TREASURE OUT. BENSON ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Dave, I have to concur with Barry. It's the 100th and Hens should have their own day. Beside's the space is somewhat limited. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- If you go with this "invite the relatives" idea you will have to let FN and Pierce Fours line up in front of the Hens! I opt to stick with the "pure" Hen concept. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Steve, Good work! I'll bring my KJ to Oley next year. Hope to see a lot of other Hens there too. OK guys - who's going to be there? Maybe we can reserve a "back row" for Indian, Ace and Cleveland Fours. The Indians and Aces are some kind of grand-children, so we can't leave them out. The Clevelands must be some kind of "once-removed" relatives. How about a Henderson/4-cyl "parade" around the fairgrounds, and then a 10 or 15 mile mile road ride? Doug knows all the local roads, and the scenery is really nice. Maybe you can convince Doug to lead the parade on the Charlie Cole Ace, or whatever 4-cylinder he's got up his sleeve these days... Wha'da'ya think? Dave ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I just got off the phone with Doug S. Perkiomen has opted to use cafe racers as the 2012 meet theme. However, Doug and I discuseed using the the perimeter of my spaces, 6, 7 and 8, across from the flagpole to display any and all Hens in recognition of the 100th aniversary. This is just a heads up and I will post updates reminding folks of the event. No stress, no mess, no judging, no trophies. Just a gathering of the best machines ever built on two wheels. And, the best people who preserve them now. |
