hey gary.if it is the same as the one i have here,you have to cut it open on the lathe.weld it back together after.it does not unscrew,counterclock or otherwise. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- What's the deal with pressure plates? Has no one figured out a way to disassemble and reassemble? I had three nice ones until water leaked into my storage container and everything rusted (it was like a steam bath when I opened it up). They still turn ok and I can get the rust off via electrolysis, but being able to put in new bearings and check the surfaces would certainly be a good thing. gary |
