This does seem like it would be a fairly easy part to make, so a template would be great, if you don't mind.

at close left turns at near zero speeds
thats why this device is
question is if its easy or eaven possible to use

HD and later Indian had better design with friction mechanism
and this one is for sure usefull

if you want I can make paper template of this piece and send you in mail
can be cut from piece of steel eaven with hand grinder
+ some work with file and some drilling

Thank you guys for the tips.
At first I couldn't figure out why you would want to ratchet down the clutch pedal. But, after some thought, I realized that with a foot clutch, it would be advantageous to lock down the pedal at traffic stops so that you didn't have to find neutral before coming to a complete stop.
I'm assuming that the heel portion of the pedal releases the ratchet when your ready to go again.
If I'm wrong about what this feature is for, please let me know what the proper procedure is, for starting and stopping with a foot clutch motorcycle.
