That is a great picture, it shows a machine doing what it was intended and needs to do, you should display the photo at your place of work so that people can see it and you can tell them that they now know what a real motorcycle looks like! The rider (who I don't know) reminds me of one of the early Cheese Puff commercials where the mascot Chester Cheatoe refers to himself as a "Cool Dude In A Loose Mood". That was intended as a complement...I'm a Chester Cheatoe fan. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- After quite a few miles on my 28 Deluxe and some tweeking here and there, I am satisfied that things are very right. Today I hummed at highway speeds + for maybe 5 hrs steady. It goes way faster than I feel safe on a rigid (almost taunting me...) I have to say I am very impressed with the design with all that old technology - state of the art at the time... The thing really flies. Wow is all I can say. No wonder cops liked them. Very comfortable to ride, good handling machine but gets a little scary after 60! Those coppers must have had big yarbles to run them in pursuits. |
