Heres an update on the scout sprocket project.
I bought a new sprocket from Jerry Greers Eng. If you ride with the Tribe you know this vendor.
Anyway the sprocket fits on the existing hub splines no adjustment required. The new sprocket is slightly thiner than the orig sprocket and the new sprocket also has a relief where the nut attaches to the hub. To compensate for the depth of the relief I had my co worker lazor cut a large spacer. I also had someone waterjet the 8 holes in the sprocket to give it a more authentic look.
Pictures show sprocket and spacer and wheel back on bike. Drew

Thanks for the help. Steve is right the sport scout sprocket is the same size (within a few thou.of an inch) as the henderson sprocket in terms of spline size.
Ill be fitting one and let you know how it works out.

1920's to 1930 Chief (also '28-30 101) sprockets and the Sport Scout sprockets have the same splines as Henderson and will interchange. The SS sprockets are solid but can be drilled to duplicate the Hen look. I can't remember offhand all the numbers of teeth so the ratios may be slightly off, i.e 35 vs. 36 or 39 vs 40 but this won't really much of a difference. I know Tom Fickau made the Chief sprockets and I think he may have made some for Hen as well.

Hello , I have done the opposite , i.e. used an old KJ sprocket center and
re-toothed it by welding good sprocket ring on it and fitted to '28 101 Scout so presume Henderson and Indian perhaps used the same hubs ???
