It consist of two aluminum brackets with angles built into them to conform to the angle of the spring coils and threaded rod between them to provide the compressive force. :jOHN ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Hi Dave Being a plumber I made a spring compressor with a few fittings ( 3 - 1/2" tees - 6 - short sch.80 1/2" nipples - 4 ft of 1/2" pipe and 2ft of 1" angle iron ) Only took a few min. to put together . I could try to post some pics If you like .
