I apologise because for the life of me I can't remember who it was but I purchase a spring compressor fabricated by someone on this site. It consist of two aluminum brackets with angles built into them to conform to the angle of the spring coils and threaded rod between them to provide the compressive force.

a few fittings ( 3 - 1/2" tees - 6 - short sch.80
1/2" nipples - 4 ft of 1/2" pipe and 2ft of 1" angle iron )
Only took a few min. to put together . I could try to

Does anyone by any chance know of an off the shelf spring compressor that will work on the KJ front main springs (Or do I have to yet again stop and make up something)?
