Soo was a nice guy and a prolific collector and restorer of great motorcycles who lived near Erie Pennsylvania. When I first met him the 2 bikes that really impressed me besides the prototype Hen were his big tank Crocker and his nearly new old stock Y13 BSA . After Soo passed away an "investor" snapped his collection up . ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Barry, Sorry for the ignorance, but who is Sylvester (Soo) Boyacheck? Who was the guy who owned the Indian OHV-4 prototype - not the Torque Four, but the X-19 (or some such number)? Dave ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I posted this on the AMCA site with near zero feedback! The late Sylvester ( Soo) Boyacheck of Pennsylvania "restored" this beauty from what he told me was the last unfinished prototype. It has oversize cam bearing journals and a chain drive in the timing cover. I think Soo did a beautiful job . The bike was sold for a bargain price just a few years ago at the Eustis auction. |
