Hello, My name is Art McCormack and I am working on a 29 KJ. I have come to a screaching halt with a problem I can't figure out. The Generator and Mag pulleys do not line up. They seem to be off by about 3/4 of an inch. I've checked the obvious. DU7 gen, Splidorf Mag, Repo Gen Mount? Never heard of an incorrect mount, but I'm not sure. I cannot adjust the generator any futher foward as it is almost hitting the frame downtube now. I have noticed on other Hendersons the generator seem to be out further missing the downtube altogether. Do I need spacers behind the Gen Mount? I am planning on going to Oley this year and thinking of bringing the KJ with me. Hoping a few Hendymen will be going, love to get by this problem. My goal is to ride this bike this summer.
