Carl was a man that I only knew in passing and talked to at various road runs as he alway,s had a crowd of awstruck enthusiasts around him with me being one of them.I,m in my mid fifties and it is at times like these that I realize the tremendous debt we owe to the keepers of this obscure knowledge about our motorcycles,that makes them possible to ride.What can you say about a guy like Carl he knew it all and was fortunate enough to both enjoy and pass it along not only to my generation but also bridged the gap with Matt Olsen and his generation also,what a gift.The machines he created and helped restore are a testament to both quality,innovation and his creative talents.Thank you Carl it was a pleasure to know you.
