Although I have not used them yet, I have a pair of Jay Zanetti's 18" rims and I am very pleased with the workmanship. He also does an excellent job on the KJ sport or regular handlebars and twisters of which I have a complete setup. I also have a set of Buchanon's stainless spokes that I will use. I am a little concerned about the distance between the spoke's head and the bend. This does appear to be excessive when compared to the originals. Upon close examination, when under tension, the spokes have a slight bow because of this. One has to wonder at least a bit about the stress the bend is under hanging all the way out there like that. I have seen them used (on Carl Vandre's '25 V8) and this did not seem to be a problem but I plan to contact Buchanon's about that just for safety.

Hi-I have not seen this answered fully yet so maybe you all can help. I have a Streamline Super X and a KJ projects. It appears that the front hubs are the same, the brakes are the same with the exception of some external differences. The rear hubs externally look the same, but because of the different bearings I don't think they would interchange? Are the Zannetti rims any good? Does anyone happen to know the length and guage of the spokes (front and rear)? Is Buchanon's the place to go for spokes? '29 KJ's used a 19" rim ('28's also?), do you know about when they started and when they stopped in the production cycle? Is this the same 19" rim that Cleveland used? Thanks in advance.
