I have a cut off 1929 KJ engine. Not sure what it was used on but I've considered welding a transmission back on. This is the only KJ cut-off I've seen.

I see in this section you have pictures of the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks Ct. This is where my Deluxe is presently housed (see picture).
For anyone who is in the area, this museum is a must see. Mine is one of three henderson engines there including a mid 30's test stand that Sickorski used to test their rotor blades during the infancy of helicopter development. It is also fitted with a Deluxe engine. It appears that Deluxe engines were the preferred engine for air use. I have not seen a KJ engine modification as of yet.
For anyone interested in aeronautics there are also many other neet pieces including one of the Wright engines partially disassembled.
Plan a trip, it's worth it!!
