Thanks for the compliment Dave. You have to dig deep into the web to learn about the Crosley history but many of the facts can be found at the Crosley Auto Club link http://crosleyautoclub.com/ at the history links at the bottom of the home page. They actually made four motorcycles and two are known to exist with a private collector. I've attached a picture. They used an opposed twin engine, shaft drive, single arm rear frame and the gas tank was in the fender. Plan to take mine to a Crosley meet in Wauseon the week before the AMCA meet. It should get the car guys scratching their heads a bit. Dennis

WOW!

Pretty good use for a spare engine! Can you tell us more about Crosley? I can't find much on the web about Crosleys except cars. Didn't they make industrial mini-trucks and such?

I think you should write up the whole story of how you built the Crosley 4 and submit it to the AMCA Magazine - for the oddballs, one-off's and could-have-been's column.

Thought the list might be interested in my latest project while waiting for my Henderson motor to be finished. Reading about the Alma 4 this morning, I thought I'd mention my Crosley 4. Found a NOS 1950 Crosley four cylinder overhead cam marine engine still on the crate from the factory. I designed and custom built the bike around the engine. Runs great and have picked up a couple of awards this summer at meets.
