Please tell me the difference between the KJ- and KL-
models? Someone that can send me some pictures that shows
the difference?
Thanks!

The KL has a mysterous charm. Part of that charm is the
controversy of the uncertan. Page of Richard Schultz's book
shows an advertisement and picture of a Henderson Special
with sport handle bars. The "Excelsior Henderson Dealer
1930" states "Sport bars are stock equipment on the Special
and the Super Sport models." I have a copy of the letter
that was sent to J.P. Scharle May 10/1948 by A.R.
Constantine, Excelsior Henderson engineer. Constantine tells
of some difference of the KL saying it had a big carburetor.
The book "Henderson And His Motorcycles" was published in
1969 by H.V. Eddy. His book on page 29 says, the KL had
different valve springs and a adapter to except the 1 1/4"
carburetor. The letter to Scharle is also in this book on
page 30. This book is avalable from Steve Blancard. These
are a few more difference that known.
